Land Registry fees to increase by over 133%

Land registry fees to increase!

Hopefully none of our readers fall into the trap of paying one of the any scam sites for titles or plans for land registry records. These are often 10 or 20 times the official price of £3.

However, as from 9th December 2024 the fee for official copies of land registry titles and plans will more than double to £7!

Land Registry say that this is the first increase for 10 years – what do you think of the 133.3% increase?

A title and plan will now be £14 as opposed to £6.

Always use the official link which is https://www.gov.uk/search-property-information-land-registry to purchase as opposed to third party sites which currently cost £20 and upwards!
