GPDO Article 6
The General Permitted Development Order (GPDO) is divided into ten Articles. Four of these Articles are then expanded further. These expanded areas are called Schedules. These are then in turn split into a number of Parts. Finally these Parts are divided into Classes within Schedule 2. This is Article 6.

Article 6 is very brief and simply allows for the GPDO to be cancelled or varied in any way. There have been over 20 variations to date.
Article 6 – Directions: general
Any power conferred by this Order to give a direction includes power to cancel or vary the direction by a subsequent direction.
